Elizabeth’s love for flowers developed while in high school. As a young teenager she began to involve herself in the FFA program. Once enrolled in an introduction to floral design class, Elizabeth decided to join a floral design competition team. Over the next four years, Elizabeth developed a great passion and talent with flowers. She competed throughout the state of California and received many awards for her work, ranging from first overall to second high team in the state. Elizabeth learned the basics of floral design, judged the care and handling of flowers and created many wonderful designs.
From there, Elizabeth has taken her skills to work in a local floral shop in Fresno, CA. Elizabeth is currently attending Brigham Young University-Idaho. She is expected to graduate in December of 2014, and will be receiving her bachelor’s degree in horticulture. Over the past six years Elizabeth has gained the skills necessary to progress in the floral industry. Elizabeth has been able to successfully maintain a small business and provide quality products for her customers.
